TECHNOLOGY
The production processes belie the age of the factory founded in 1894. For small-series, exclusive production, as well as for large-series appliances, the standard, high quality of products is ensured by state-of-the-art technology.
The entire production process is encompassed by an advanced manufacturing resource planning system. To achieve high-precision as standard, sheets are worked with the help of laser-guided and plasma cutters, while welding and bending are performed using high technology equipment. Treating surfaces is key to aesthetics as well as to the durability of the appliances. Enamel-coating is applied by computerised processes for large series, while the most exclusive, small series appliances are enamelled by hand.
Wamsler SE is particularly proud of our iron casting facility. The cleansing of cast iron parts and the finishing of their surfaces are renowned for their quality. The assembly plant’s ergonomic design contributes to both the high quality of the work, as well as the safety of workers.
Wamsler SE has its own analytic and mechanic laboratories for the continuous complex testing of technologies and products. It is here that quality assurance performs the testing of material quality, parts and finishing.
Recognised by industry experts as the winner of several national awards, Wamsler relies on our team of experienced engineers to design new products, in order to meet ever-changing and progressing demands and requirements. Prototypes are tested at the factory’s own test lab, which examines gas, electric and solid fuel stoves to help develop appliances with increased fuel efficiency. When a new solution is approved, Wamsler relies on our own tool manufacturing plant for putting the enhanced feature or product into production rapidly.
